Rochanda Gabourel is an Associate at the Law office of Slaymaker and Nelson, P.A., whose practice areas include Estate Planning, Probate, Trust Administration, Guardianship, Elder Law, Medicaid Planning and Landlord/Tenant.  She enjoys helping clients prepare for and navigate major life events through proper estate planning.

Rochanda joined the firm in January of 2023. With a heart for helping others, she desired to be a part of a firm where clients have lawyers they can turn to for sound legal advice, compassion, and care.

Prior to going into private practice, Rochanda was a Supervising Attorney with the Department of Children and Families, Child Welfare Legal Services, in Citrus County, Florida.  Rochanda managed 5 attorneys and a support staff of 5 while litigating juvenile dependency cases.  She received her J.D. from Thurgood Marshall School of Law in Houston, Texas and her B.A. in English Literature from The University of Colorado.

Most importantly, Rochanda is a proud wife and mother of two wonderful boys. The Gabourel Family lives in Citrus Springs and actively supports the local community.
